Arrival Story:
I am from a Scottish Terrier Rescue. I was a commercial kennel release because I sustained a hernia while giving birth to my third litter. I am only 2! I lived in a cage all of my life in a place that had 400 dogs. The first member of the family I met was Zebedee who was so excited to see me that he ran up to me before I was even put on the floor. He greeted me with a bark and tail wag. I went to meet my potential two mommies making sure to give them a kiss each. Then Zebedee and I ran up and down the carpeted stairs of the rescue house. It was a done deal once I met Emma, my feline sister to be. We had a love in at the hotel.

Bio:
My mommies had to drive10 hours on Thanksgiving day in 2007 to get to where I was. On the way they thought of names to name the new family member. Being inspired by the drive the most popular name was "NumbButt". Then after watching me in the hotel rooms "Carpet wetter, paper shredder" was in the running. In the end though, "Ollie" won out because I just am an "Ollie" and Nudel because next to my big brawny brother I look like a noodle. "Nudel" is german for noodle. My mommies are nerds and teutoniphiles.

Lesson:
I was completely housebroken when I got back to Chicago. Then it started snowing, I hate snow, it's cold and wet. I came up with a brilliant plan, if I went to the bathroom inside the house, I wouldn't need to go outside. This plan is not appreciated because whenever I am in the middle of going, I am whisked outside (without my coat or boots)and plopped in the snow to finish what I started. Obviously my mommies can't recognize a genius plan. Hmph.

I LOVE leaves! They are covering our neighborhood and I sniff through them when we walk. The best part is that mommy cannot see what good things I am sniffing out under the leaves. I have gotten to eat so many ground treats before mommy can get to me, it's great!!!

Today my mommy took me for a ride in the car and we left my brother at home. We ended up at this place where there were other dogs and cats. Then strange people violated my space by groping me all over and then taking blood. I got a bandage BUT thentheystuckmethreetimeswithshots!!!! I got treats, liver treats, BUTHEYSTUCKMEFOURTIMESWITHANEEDLE!!!

I licked my bandage all the way home. Some trip that was. I don't think I will obey any commands today.


My new kennel

My mommies got us a brand new kennel that all four of us sleep in. It is great! There is a king size bed, toys, and food for everybody in it. I love it.
Every morning that we are in it I like to dance and roll around for everybody to see.
I do not like for anything or person to get near it. I saw those leaves! I growled and growled at them but they wouldn't stop going by the window.
This is MY family's kennel and I am going to keep it that way!
