Leave a bone for Spike Bio: Hi, my name is Spike. I am one and a half years old.
Don't let my tough name fool you; I'm really a softie at heart and a very cute boxer boy if I do say so myself. I'm very lightly brindled with a white chest and white legs. My foster dad says it looks like I'm wearing socks. I hear a lot of humans say that I'm very handsome. I'm a little skinny right now, but I've been getting some good meals lately so soon I'll probably weigh about 55 pounds.
My last owner found me running around and took care of me for awhile; but thought I needed a more permanent family. So right now, I'm living with a foster family until I find my forever home. I'm having a great time! I play with my foster brother and sister (they're boxers, too) and we have so much fun running in the backyard and going on walks. My foster mom says that I need to improve my leash skills a little, but we're working on it!
I love to hop in the car and go for rides, especially to the park. Sometimes I get a little too excited when other people and dogs are around. When people come over, I let my foster parents know that someone is here. I'm just so curious when meeting new people.
I'm housebroken and crate trained. I really like to sleep on the couch, but the humans say I shouldn't do that! That's ok, though, because after I'm done playing, I'm content to sit on the floor and be petted. I know how to sit and shake and am working on roll over; that's a tough one, though!
I'm current on vaccines and am neutered. I'm such a good boy; wouldn't you love to meet me?
If you have the love and the time for me please adopt me? Please go to Go Boxer Rescue to complete an Application to Adopt so they know you would like to adopt ME! Be sure to mention my name on the Application to Adopt. Remember, I'm Spike. I've Been On Dogster Since:
