Arrival Story:
I volunteer at The Humane Society one day a week I groom the dogs for them well inApril I spent the day grooming I did about 5 dogs when they brought in one more it was Rusty. He had been abused and abandoned for 2 weeks with no food or water in the back yard. Luckily the landlord went by to check the property because the renters had moved out without letting him know. He found Rusty in the backyard dirty, matted, and very hungry. I fell in love with him the minuite I saw him I decided to take him home and groom him and return him the next day well that didn't happen I couldn't let him go. We had a name for him instantly and he answered to it he was very good he did not bark unless it was important even though he had been starved when we offered food he took it gently from your hand. His nicknames are VW because he wags his tail up and down so it stands for vertical wag also he just recently got the nickname HD which stands for High Dollar Rusty went into kidney failure from a tick bite he received before we adopted him we chose to treat him and $1000.00 later he is well and will live a long healthy life. We just want him to have the life he should have had from the beginning. The vet said he was about 4 years old so his birth date is 4 years earflier from the day we adopted him. He will never go hungry again!

Bio:
I make leather outfits for dogs Rusty has turned out to be my best model ever he will walk around with the outfit and sunglasses on and is extremely friendly to the customers. He also started riding the motorcycle and he loves it I made him a pouch to ride in so he can go on trips with us.
