Arrival Story:
Scooch is my mother's dog that she got from a friend that had a litter of black lab puppies. He was the only one left because as a puppy he was run over by a car injuring his hip. Scooch walked with a gimp after healing. My mom loves black dogs so she was all for taking him since no one else wanted him.

Bio:
Scooch is now 13 years old and still going strong. He is a very relaxed dog unless you say you will take him on a walk. Scooch still runs like a puppy and loves the snow. He does have a few problems from aging like some arthritis from his hip and seasonal allergies have always been a problem for this guy. He is now deaf or mostly deaf and has cataracts in both eyes. He has some very worn down teeth too from age. He is still a very good dog that is not letting age stop him.
