Arrival Story: Early on January 5th, Dexter began his odyssey. He stepped outside the Kentucky shelter he had called home for close to 2 months and hopped into the car of a transport volunteer. She drove him on the first leg of a long trip North. For the rest of that day and into the night, Dexter changed cars 10 times until he reached Bucks County, PA and his new parents.
Most of us would be quite cranky after a day like that. Not Dexter. He hopped out of the car and gave his new mom and dad big kisses hello! Bio: Dex is a purebred Australian Cattle Dog, also known as a Blue Heeler. He is high energy. He loves to play, is getting really great at Frisbee, and gets along splendidly with ALL other dogs he lives with!
