Hello Again Dairy.....

It is so cold here today, and has been snowing all day. I want to go walking, but mom says it is just too cold out for her or for me. So, maybe another day. I have played with mom most of the day, except when she has been on here. I think she is gonna give me another bath, and I might have to run and hide from her. She always finds me though. She says the bath makes me smell better, but, I think I smell just fine. Oh well, whatever she wants is ok with me I guess !! She puts this stuff on me that is white and makes foam. I don't quite know what it is, but she seems to like it. Then she dries me off with a towel, and I have to go get warm then. We have a nice heater in the bathroom though to help keep me warm. I usually get extra snacks after one of those trips in the bathtub. So, I guess it's not too bad ! Gotta go now diary, but I will try to write again soon !!!

Hello Again Diary.....

I have been busy lately trying to take care of my mommy and my daddy. They have been sick. I had to stay at their sides while they got well. I did all I could, and I know it must have helped them, because now they are feeling much better. My mommy has played with me some today, and she didn't feel like doing that for several days. Daddy is back at work now, and I am so glad they are better. I don't like it when they get sick, but I know if I got sick, that they would take good care of me too. It is cold here in Kentucky today, and me and mommy can't go walking. But maybe it'll warm up soon, and we can walk some. Gotta go now, but will write again soon........

Hello Again Diary...

Today has been a slow day. Not much going on. Mom went out for a while, but boy was I glad to see her when she got back home. I stay in my kennel when she is gone from home, she says so I won't get into something that might hurt me. I understand, and when I am in my kennel, it gives me a chance to snooze !! I love my kennel, nice and comfy, and warm with blankets and all. Daddy will be home soon, and I can play with him for a while after he rests. Not much else to talk about today, but maybe tomorrow we can go for a walk if it doesn't snow. Mom says it might snow tomorrow, and then I can go outside and play in it. Fun !!! Good Morning

Today is another cold day here in Kentucky. They say it's gonna snow here this week, and maybe mom will take me out in the snow again. I like to eat the snowflakes. It's fun to run around while the snow if falling, and try to catch the snowflakes in my mouth. They are cold though !! Mom and I are just gonna stay home today, where it's nice and warm, inside. I know she's staying home today, cause she told me so !! I love it when mom stays home with me all day. We play, and she rubs my belly a lot ! She's a good mom, and I love her very much. I know she loves me too !! I ususally take several naps during the day, but, mom doesn't care one bit. I have a bed in the living room, and my kennel is in the bedroom right beside mom's bed. I love to get beside the warm heater in the bathroom too, it's so cozy and warm. Oh, and we have a fireplace too in the living room, and, I love to warm in front of it too !! So, you see, I am well taken care of, and I know how much I am loved !! My daddy is at work right now, but he'll be home for lunch pretty soon. Gotta go for now, but, will write more later !!!

First Day With Dogster

My name is Sugar, I am new here to this forum, my mother and I. I am a female Dachshund, red in color, and very proud. I have a mom that loves me very much, and takes very good care of me. I live in the mountains of Kentucky with my mom and dad. It is beautiful here, and I love to go outside. Mom takes me for long walks when the weather is good. It is cold here right now, so our walks are limited. But, when it's warm outside, we go walking everyday, and sometimes twice a day. I love to walk, and meet the others in the neighborhood. It's fun !! I love to chase leaves in the wind, and when it snows, I love to chase the snowflakes too. They are cold on my tongue, and taste pretty good !! Today is a good day, because I have been with my mom all day, she hasn't gone anywhere today, she's been at home with me all day. I like that ! I try to be a good girl, and not mess up the house, or potty on the floor, and most days I am successful, but at times I forget. But, my mom understands. I love her !! She's a good mom !! She tells me all the time how much she loves me, and I know she does. I can tell !!
I will write more tomorrow, and I am glad I joined Dogster, it seems nice, and I am looking forward to learning my way around here... That's all for now !!.. Woof !!!
