Arrival Story:
Our daughter always had trouble going to sleep and staying in her bed all night - since she was a baby. One day, out of frustration, my wife asked her what it would take to get her to sleep in her own bed once and for all. She said, "I want a puppy!" So my wife made a deal with her. She said if she slept in her bed from that day on and stopped coming into our room by her birthday (4 months later), we would get a puppy the following spring. My wife then turned to me and said, "that's one deal I'll never have to pay up on" HA!!! Our daughter started sleeping in her bed the next evening and hasn't been back in our bed since. The following April Lola came home.
Bio:
Lola survived canine Parvovirus. She got sick 2 days after she came home with us and we almost lost her as quickly as we got her. But she was a fighter and hung in there and survived. Today she is very strong, fun loving and has a cast iron stomach - as evidenced by the 5 remote controls, 2 cell phones, plastic toys, and many garbage cans full of tissues and paper she's eaten over the last 3 years!
