Today was our 2nd day on the road. On day 1,Dad managed to drive 950 miles to reach ST Clairsville ,MO where we camped overnite in a rest area. At the start of our trip as we journeyed out the PA turnpike,Dad`s subaru clicked over to 100,000 miles! Late in the day,we passed thru St Louis,MO and the famous arch was nicely lit up against the backdrop of the lighted city skyscrapers.

Today we passed thru OK and stopped to visit with Dogster pals Flicka and Lucas. I enjoyed a nice evening stroll around Pam`s property with them. The boys live on a nice rural property in a peaceful,secluded setting. We really appreciate being able to stay here overnite since we arrived rather late in the day.

Boy Wesley your Dad really drives far in a day. Mum says anything over 600 miles a day really tires her out. It's great that you get to meet your pals all over the country. You two are quite the adventurers.
