Arrival Story:
I whined to my mom for months to give me money to buy a dog and finally, after 10 months, she gave me $350. I told her it wasn't near enough to get a pomeranian, but she said too bad. So I looked up a local breeder and went to visit her house. There, she had cages of pomeranians, most 6 weeks old. I told her I wanted a male and that I was a college student without a lot of money. She pointed to a pomeranian in the top cage who was a 4 month old, male pomeranian who had mange on his face....I took him out of the cage and he seemed like he had an ok personality. I asked how much he was and she replied, $350!! SOLD! I drove home, annoyed that I hadn't gotten a 6 week old pom and instead gotten a 4 month old one with MANGE!! But once I had gotten him home, bathed him and named him Doozer, he was strutting around my apartment like the cutest little dog ever...I cured his mange in 2 weeks and he became the best thing, other than life, to ever have been given to me.

Bio:
Doozer graduated from his therapy training class WITH HONORS!! He and I are now a certified PAWS therapy team. We provide companionship to the elderly and children in hospitals and rest homes. Doozer also passed his test to allow children with learning disabilities to practice reading to him...I am the proudest mom ever! He is so well behaved and so kind to everyone. He truly is the best companion ever...my little buddy :)

Doozer is aptly named and can either be a Doozie or the Dooze depending on the situation. Doozer is extremely laid back and goes with the flow no matter what the environment. He loves traveling, going to barbeques, hanging out with me and my friends, playing with other dogs, running around, swimming at the beach and cuddling.
