Meet my new pal, Nikko

My mom and sister took me for a long long ride last Wednesday, and at the end of this ride, I met two little dogs. They were one of those tiny ones that I usually have no interest. I didn't know what to do with them.

Both of them fell in love with my sis, but I wasn't sure at all about this. Why are they meeting with these strangers? What's going on? At the end of this walking around with these two little doggies, they brought one of these little guys into MY car! I got totally confused. I stared at my mom for the longest time, and then she says, "Buddy? What do you think?" What do I think of what?? Then they went to Petco and got bunch of stuff there for this little guy.

What's going on? This little guy is too excited about everything. Calm down little one. I like my life here to be calm and gentle.

Anyway, I guess they decided to keep this little funny looking thing. His name is Nikko. He came with the name. It's a Japanese word, for a smile, and also one of the most famous shrines names in Japan, which means ray of Sun.

What would my daddy say? I heard the voice in my dream last night, "Buddy, take good care of this little guy. Make him your best friend."

I will try my best, Daddy. I promise.

My sis, Maya is very happy with this little guy. I tell you, Nikko can run faster than ME! And I don't like it.

Sleep Over

Today Maya and her best friend Lucy are going to have a sleepover, and I am so excited. They walked me all the way down to our near-by grocery store, and played with my tennis ball.

Do you know what I think is not fair? Maya and Mommy got up so early in the morning, and went skiing. They got to play in the snow. No Fair!!!!

But I am glad Maya brought Lucy back with her. She is a sweet friend.

Once again I am alone

Today, Maya, my sister and my mommy went to school and work. I was once again alone all day. The winter break was too short. Why do they have to go to school and work all the time?

This morning, it snowed. I felt so happy. I thought they'd stay home and play with me in the snow. But it didn't stick. That was very heartbreaking. I stared out the window watching snow melt away.

I am always very patient waiting for them to ask me my most favorite question in the world. " Do you want to go for a walk?"

I am turning gray day by day missing my family, I wish they stay with me all day every day.

"Sigh..."

My sis is sick

Hi, I'm Buddy. And I think I have the best family ever.

Today my sister Maya, stayed home from school because she was feeling under the wether. Yuck! She also threw up almost on me.

I am glad that she is feeling better, but I sure enjoyed her company today.
