Scoots across the carpet on her tummy, legs stretched out behind her. She is also quite the contortionist.
Arrival Story:
We found Molly at Ratbone Rescues, a national Rat Terrier rescue group. I wanted a beagle, my husband an allergy-friendly dog. We read that terriers were easy on the allergies, so I researched them and really liked the variety found in the Rat Terrier breed. We wanted an older dog because we didn't have the patience for potty training or chewing issues. We found then-8-year-old Molly and her bio fit our every need. Her former owners gave her up because of her aggression. Well I would be aggressive too if I was treated as poorly as Molly. She was scared of everything, including men. She lashed out at strangers, other dogs, city buses, bikes, semis, etc. Through much positive training, she has overcome most of her fears. It's just those loud Harley-Davidsons that are too hard not to bark at!

Well in my first picture you see I may actually be enjoying the snow - A LITTLE!
Forget about that! It has been snowing so much here in Milwaukee. The lady tried to walk me yesterday and I got the next house. Sheesh, it's cold.
I am suffering some serious cabin fever. Anyone in the Caribbean want a rat terrier for this month?

Just got back from another vacation, folks, this time to somewhere called Amery, Wisconsin. It took a long time to drive there, so it must be pretty far out in the country. A couple of times, The Lady complained that she didn't have something called "cell service," and the Buddy wished he had something called "wi-fi."
We stayed in a cabin on the Apple River. I had some specific goals for the trip:
- Get my people's attention by walking out onto the pier and casually jumping into the water. DONE! I checked this one off right away, but unfortunately I needed a bath afterwards (see photo above).
- Go canoeing. DONE! I had to wear that silly-looking life jacket again.
- Go biking. DONE! At first I thought it was fun to feel the wind in my face- but it got old fast.
- Eat a bug. I think I did this one- or did he get away?
- Get some sleep. DONE!
Now we're back home, and all that sleeping made me tired. I need some rest.

Summer is here. YAHOOOO! Now I can do my favorite things.....sitting on my pad in the sun and taking long walks. Life is good when my tongue can lol around.
