Toby loves to follow her humans around the house! She also loves naps on the bed, car rides, W-A-L-K-S (she gets way too excited if you say it!)
Pet-Peeves:
Water! Toby hates to get wet - even the rain. (Funny that she's a lab, huh?) She also gets really shy around other dogs, and anyone who doesn't live in her house...she also isn't particularly fond of the housecat-in-command, Silvio!
Favorite Toy:
Toby loves her kong, her Harley Davidson newpaper chew toy, and leftover cat food cans :)
Favorite Food:
Cat food, popcorn, carrots, compost
Favorite Walk:
ANYWHERE!! Toby looooves to see her leash because she knows she going somewhere on it! (well, except the vet's)
Best Tricks:
Toby is EXTREMELY well-trained...she can sit, come, stay, sneeze, give paw, speak, retrieve, anything you ask her basically. She's smarter than a lot of humans I know!
Arrival Story:
My mom used to work at the community rec center. At the time, we were looking for a dog, and her coworker gave her a lead on a black lab puppy at the Cecil Township Shelter. My dad went to check it out, and unfortunately there were a million black labs! He picked out the one that best fit the description, and that was our little Toby-girl. She was scared when she first came home to us, but she warmed up pretty quickly. She's a devoted, sweet little girl who loves her family. And we love her to death! :)
