Arrival Story:
After wanting a dog for the longest time, and looking around Seattle Area animal shelters for a dog that appealed to me and fit within my apartment's constraints (ie: under 25 lbs.), Rusty was found at a local petstore. Having never been there before, it was exciting to see a variety of puppies, some sleeping while others vied for attention. However, the puppies that really caught our eyes were two Pembroke Welsh Corgi brothers. Rusty's brother had already been picked by a couple that was there, but it didn't matter -- Rusty was cuter anyway. :) We just HAD to bring him home ASAP/
