We had a great time at the 2008 Bark In The Park!!
I just got to cruz around and tell everydog about my kid, Tai.
Got in trouble once for yelling at one dog....but they got to close to her. After all she is MY kid now. I have to look out for her and what ever she eats and drops, well that is MINE.
Anywoof, there were sooooo many dogs.
Short ones, very TALL ones, really fat ones and a few really skinny ones, even wrinkley ones {BOL}..
There was one that was big, fat and full of wrinkles on his face.
There were allot of contests. I got to be in the "Musical Chairs" but we had to sit instead. I got to the final 5 before we got dizzy. I was a good girl for never having "official" obedience training. Mom was sooo proud of me. Dad, Gramma and Grampa got to cheer me on too. I think got a little stage fright and lost my concentration looking to see if they were watching me.
I got a new toy and collar.
I might even be in the news paper. Trace and Dad did the "Dog/Owner look alike contest" {BOL} They made it to the final 4...
Mom and Trace did the BEST KISS, needless to say, there were some really gross kissers that made it to the finals....YUCK
But we spent the day in the park with our humans and had a great time. I barked at few of my friends and it was pawesome!!!!!
My WoofDay is tomorrow, and Mom has a special surprise for me...hmmm
Until tomorrow,
Bark ya later

Whew what storms I have been through in my life...all 7 1/2 years of!!
But nothing like I have seen the past few days here in Nevada.
Wind, rain, wind, snow, wind, floods, did I mention wind..
One town over had a similar thing happen as New Orleans and looks just as bad. Glad I didn't move there.
They had a levee break and flooded the whole town with the storm water runnin' down the Truckee river.
But they were allot better equipped than New Orleans. Everyone is safe and sound.
Great state Nevada is when it wants to be, Lyon County too..my new Mom doesn't think to highly of either.
I am a dog with high miles and it was nice to have a nice quiet place to settle my old bones at in the middle of this bad storm.
I get to lay on the couch and pretty much do what I want.
Although there is no livestock, which means no herding, I keep and eye on other things.
So far the kitchen and this kid, Tai, have had me pretty busy.
This kid laughs at me all the time. She is giving me a complex!!!
So far I like it here. I have heard about Pit Bulls before, but the ones here, well they ARE NOT what everyone has said. What a bunch of weenies!!!
One is scared to death of the goose. Big wuss...
One is a stuck on her looks.
One is a lazy couch potato. I like that one..
and One is old like me and kind of stares into space allot...poor girl.
Definately not the stories you hear.
The one thing is, the ALL LIVE TOGETHER!!!
We all run and play with this big rope ball, Dusk doesn't always share though.
But we all have so much fun.
And this is just my first day!!!
Yippeee..........
