Heya, I'm Archie!

The Final Walkies 20th February 2008

Archie had his final walkies today. He passed away while on a walk with Saffy.

He was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Disease grade 5 when he was 4 weeks old. We think he had a good if short life with our family. We miss him already.

It was brilliant

The Daddy was doing stuff in the front garden and left the door open and Merlin said to me " lets go play the run fast game and see if we can catch the ducks".

I really was great . Me and Merlin went out and played the run fast game and we went to the nature reserve to see if we could catch the ducks. Pixie being a lardy arse stayd at home and done that thing silly girls do. You know the stuff I mean. She stayed and missed the great game and she prolly got sweeties but it was great. Merlin and me were proper Crazy Combat Corgis. We runned dead fast and everything.

Saffy our skin sister and The Daddy played too. Honestly it was so brilliant. The Daddy was running and barking and Saffy was running and barking. Oh we had good fun playing the run fast game.

The Daddy got me and put me on his shoulder and he growled a bit at me. I don't know why he was growling at me. Then Saffy and The Daddy (I was on his shoulder) managed to get Merlin so he couldn't play the run fast game anymore. Saffy was growling and so was The Daddy. I really don't know why they were growling. I mean they had won the run fast game.

When we got home Pixie was livid . I'm so glad I don't have to share the Crazy Combat Corgi Head Quarters with her. I'm not really a Corgi but I have the collar and tags now so I'm an Honorary one and I have my own Cav Cave. I think I need to get my ears and nose pointy or something before I'm a real corgi.

Mummy wasn't happy when she found out.

I hope me and Merlin can go play the catch the ducks game soon.

A Bit Of Stuff...

My Name's Archie and I'm Ginger. Well, Ruby, but everyone calls me Ginger.
I am an hounorary Combat Corgi since Santa brought me a new collar and a new tag, and it's great! Now I can do all of the things that a Corgi can do... Even sit up nice and beg like my brother and sister!
The only bad thing about my brother and sister is that they're sometimes nasty to me. They stole the giraffe Santa got me and ripped it to pieces! So now I content myself with THEIR toys. Like the Cat Fish and those great big knuckles Mummy and Daddy got us!
I'm very brave now, I even warn them off when they come to near to me when I have sweeties or a great big bone.
I like to sit on the back of the sofa, against the wall. It means that I can kiss everyone that somes near me or sits down.
Everyone keeps on barking at me when I tell them that there's someone at the door or I don't want them to go out... But they give me cuddles and scratch behind my ears (which I love so much!) for doing the same when I need the toilet. Strange, isn't it?
I love my skinsister Olivia. she's so kind to me and gives me hugs and kisses.
