Missing Mom

Rainy Tuesday

Hi-I am getting groomed right now. I didn't want to get out of the car tonight, mom had to get me out and carry me in. I like Rhonda but I don't feel like getting a bath tonight...I am just getting the perfect scent...now my mom is going to have it washed off. I am sure those dried up worms will be great to roll in now that it rained...oh wait, it's too cold here for the worms to come out...I will find something else to roll in, better than worms. I am sure Rhonda is going to polish my nails too, she doesn't realize I am a BOY dog. Maggie gets her's done and she's so cute, but gold sparkle polish on a BOY dog, not cool, really, not cool. Well, I hope my mom comes to pick us up soon, I need some cuddle time to get over this.

Sad Day

Maggie and I are in Madison this weekend. We played with our cousins, Buster and Lizzie. Lizzie needs to be groomed and she doesn't ever leave me alone. Maggie and Lizzie gang up on me and chase me around the house. One of my favorite things to do while we are here is bark at Zeus. Zeus is an akita...he was my dads dog a long time ago, but Zeus was sassy living in town so he moved out to the country. Mom always let me and Maggs play in the yard, but everytime she let me in the fenced area (where Zeus was) we would bark and bark at him. I wanted to show him I was the boss..he pee'd on me once too and I didn't really like it. We barked at him yesterday and mom gave him some treats yesterday. Today he slept under the pine tree for awhile and then this afternoon, he was laying in the yard and wouldn't get up. Buster had to go and see, poor Zeus went to sleep in the sun and never woke up. Dad and Uncle Paul had to haul in in the skid loader, he weighed about 175#. Mom was crying and dad was too. Now I have no one to bark at when I come down here. Lets all hope Zeus made it to the rainbow bridge.

Warm Weather

Wisconsin was 53 degrees today, I got to play outside. Of course my sister Maggie played too. I barked at a dog walking by today, I even stayed in my yard and driveway...sometimes I don't and mom gets mad. I don't always look both ways before crossing, so I need to stay in my yard. We are going to Madison this weekend to visit Grandma and Grandpa. I like to go there..they have a huge yard and it's out in the country, so I can run and run and not worry about looking both ways. My doggie cousins are there. Buster the boxer is my pal. He actually came to live at my house when my mommy first brought me home...I took his toys. He was 2 years old and I was only 5 weeks old!!! He lives in Madison now, he has allergies and had issues at my house. Besides, Grandpa loves boxers so he has a great life now. My other doggie cuz Lizzie is ok...she is a little yippy. She will run hot laps with me, so I do like her.
