Arrival Story:
For years we went to The North Shore Animal League just to look at puppies. Because we lived in the city it would have been difficult to take care of a dog...but we liked to dream anyway. One day in January 2003, we took another trip to NSAL to overcome the winter blues. To our delight the place was filled with puppies! all jumping around and yapping but one. A little black dog with a runny nose laying very quietly. We took her out of the cage and cuddled with her. An hour later we took her home...She regained her health rather quickly and became very active...but we still cuddle with our Lady today. She has changed our lives. We now live in the country where we can all enjoy the outdoors.

Bio:
Lady is a very strong and affectionate dog who gets along with her brother, Thumbs - the cat(see the picture below).
