Arrival Story:
Marley is a rescue...not only did I rescue him - he's rescued me too. At work one day my manager and I were discussing pets. I mentioned I had been looking around on Cocker Spaniel rescue websites because I desperately wanted a dog. She told me that she and her sister had rescued a dog about a week ago that looked to be a Cocker Spaniel, but couldn't tell because of his terrible condition - they had planned on taking him to the humane society that afternoon. I asked her not to so that I could come meet him. It was love at first sight. I arranged to pick him up two days later. I immediately took him to my vet to be vaccinated and groomed. He has been the most wonderful dog I could ever ask for! I look forward to many more years of companionship!
