Arrival Story: MPR was made aware of a difficult situation in Peculiar. A mom and her 7 puppies needed a new home. The result of an "accidental pregnancy".
This precious little guy was born on November 02 and named Lennox.
Bio: Notes from his foster mom: Lenny lives with my husband and I, our 18 month old son, a male pittie and a female pittie. He loves to cuddle and play with my son and follows him around the house all day--we call him his little shadow. The male in our home is not dog friendly so there won't be an introduction there, and while there has been limited play between Lenny and our female (that Lenny really enjoyed!) she is still a little too rough to play with him seeing as he is so tiny. We have a fenced backyard where Lenny goes potty and he is learning very quickly how to walk on a leash. He sleeps in his crate at night and is getting better every day at learning how to be quiet and calm during crate time. Since Lenny is only 9 weeks old we are just beginning training of the basics. As amazing as it might sound, he has been here only a week and the past 2 days has been holding his potty to go outside instead of going in his crate. He immediately goes upon going outside on the leash, so we think he will be a very very easy potty-trainer. He is a very responsive little guy and definitely eager to please. Lenny is the perfect puppy mix of cuddly and playful. He makes us all laugh with his little puppy jumps and loves to play tug-o-war with his toys; however he can quickly transition into a calmer mode and snuggle up into your lap for a snooze. Him and my son have been having quite a blast together so I think he would do very well in a home with children. The best thing about Lennox is his cuddly nature for sure. He is such a lover and we can just tell that he's going to turn out to be such a sweet boy! For more information and photos please check his MPR page out here.
