The Solstice

The darkest day of the year is almost upon us. But for me, it is celebration of the end of darkness and of hope and new beginnings. For eleven years ago today, I let out a brave little bark that carried to the ears of my mom, and she rescued me from fear and hunger and loneliness. May you all find light and hope and experience the joy that I have for the past eleven years. Happy Solstice, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
