That seems pretty simple. I think I can do that! Are you ready? Here goes-------

1. I LOVE going for rides
2. I am a Cancer survivor! YAY!!
3. I can catch a ball (or 'most anything) really good from really far!!
4. I love squeaky, squeaky toys very, very much!
5. I like getting in the big shower with Mommy for my bath/shower.
6. I like raw veggies and fruit. Tomatoes & watermelon are my favorites.
7. I keep the crows out of my back yard

I couldn't find my diary!

Holy Cow!!

I've been wanting to write in my diary, but I couldn't find it. I think Minna took it and hid it. She does stuff like that. Anyway, here it is-the first day of August! Wow! Not too much has been happening.

In June, Minna & I went to the University of Pa. vet hospital and had our toofies cleaned, scraped and polished. Mmmm, minty fresh!! BOL But do you know what else they did? While we were asleep, they CUT OUR NAILS!!! It wasn't so bad after all.

Lemme see......what else....Oh, yeah! Mommy & Daddy went away for a week. Minna, the parrot & I all stayed at our human sister's home. She's the one with four little people. We had a lot of fun there, but we were really glad to get home. She made us sleep in our crate while we were there! Can you imagine that? Not in a big comfy nest with the humans. I wuz bad. I peed on the wall. I guess you'd say I was pi##ed off?

We were home for a week and then you know what?? The four little humans came HERE!! They have been here for seven days. I think I heard Mommy say they will only be here two more days. I sure hope that's true. They wear me out. Not to mention, they interfere with my naps. Hmmph!

Oh well, they are a food source, so I guess it's not all bad. BOL

Somebody is at the door. I must go.

Univ. of Pa. update

Hi everyone!

I went for my nine-month post surgery check-up. And guess what?? Dr. Eroshin said I am healthy for sure!! They had taken X-rays of my chest to make sure the cancer had not spread to other parts of me. Nuttin' showed up on the final report. ;-)) Mommy & Daddy are soooo relieved. I told them not to worry and that I was OK, but I guess they had to hear it from the doctor. So that's that!

Minna & I are going there next month to get our toofies cleaned really good. Mommy brushes them, but misses some spots. I need mine done 'specially good 'cause I'm missing those chompers on the top where they took the sickness (cancer) out of me. We like going to the Matthew J. Ryan hospital at the U. of Pa. They make such a fuss over me & Minna. It makes us feel very speshul--'cause we are, you know?

I think Spring has sprung here in Middletown. We go out to the patio and just sit & enjoy the breezies. It is very nice. Sometimes we chase a bird or two but mostly we wander around and sniff stuff that wasn't there before. Minna likes to dig in a certain spot by the hose. We think some little critter is in there. Minna is very good at finding those mousies. I kinda just help her. Oh, well. I can't be handsome & look for mice, too!

Oh, I hear Mommy calling me. Gotta go. Bye fur now..............

Check-up

Hi everybody!!

Monday (04/07/08) I went to the University of Pensylvania Veterinary hospital for my nine-month check up since my surgery last summer. Dr. Eroshin said everything looked really good!! They took an X-ray of my chest to make sure the cancer hadn't traveled around in my body. The preliminary reports on that were negative, too!! Yippee!!! I am so happy. I'm really happy 'cause my mommy won't worry so much. I told her not to worry, but you know how mommies are. Minna came with me to keep me company. Everybody there always makes a fuss over us. That's 'cause we behave very well. They give us cookies there. They were really good to me because I wasn't allowed to eat anything from the night before. I wuz starvin!!! Minna and I are going to go back to get our teeth cleaned as soon as mommy makes the appointment. That should be fun-NOT. They give us medicine that makes us L-O-O-P-Y! But I need to get my teeth that I have left cleaned, so I'll just have to suck it up, eh?

Daddy's has been making our breakfast and dinner lately. He always puts a little something extra tasty in for us! Yummo!! (sorry Rachael)

Oh, someone's at the door. Gotta go!

SPRINGTIME!!

OK folks!

It was just like I said--Spring came here four days ago!! Right on time. I couldn't have waited another day. There are flowers on our magnolia trees and some of the daffy dills, too! I like it when it starts to get pretty and smells good outside.

Minna & I got new Spring haircuts. We look right smart, too, I'd say! But, then, I think we ALWAYS look good. I know one thing. It sure does feel good. I was getting a little itchy with all that long hair. Sometime it would tickle my nose. Achoo! It will grow back and be long again before we know it. I like getting into the big shower with Mommy. I get a really good shampoo/massage. Brrrr --I get shivers--it feels so good. I LOVE being rubbed & loved.

Today is Easter. A happy and Holy day for us. We had company.Our human sister and her family came to have dinner with us. I like it when they come. Minna and I get to play with the kids outside and have so much fun. But then, we get so tired, too! I like it when we have company because we sometimes get special food goodies. Today it was ham and brocoli. I like that a lot. Minna swears she likes pickled beets. I can't imagine why, but she does. I tried one once. It didn't work for me.
Tomorrow our human brother and his family are coming to visit. I can't wait. They don't have so many kids, but we still play. You know, that's very important to me. You must play as much as you can. I don't like it when everyone is in the "downy-dumps". You must play as much as you can whenever you can. It's a healthy thing to do!

Well, Minna says we should go out to potty and go to bed, so I guess that's what I'll be doing now.

Miss Minna's Big Honor

Whoa!

Check this out! My sister, Minna, was chosen for the Diary of the Day today!! She is so flattered and so happy! I think that is so cool. She is so pretty--even if she is my sister!! We got a lot of new woofderful Pals because a lot of fursons saw her. Thanks everybody.

I have to go now. Minna is calling me. Fur real! She really is

Hi Everybody!

I really don't have a lot to say today.

I thought you all might like to know the first day of Spring will be here in nineteen days!! I think I could get excited about that. We spend much more time outside when the weather is warmer. We might have a guest come visit us all the way from Hawaii (to Delaware) around that time. I know I am excited about that! I love meeting new friends.

So, you can join me in the countdown to Spring 19, 18, 17, 16 .......... C'Mon Springtime!!

My Shower

Hi!
Well, I finally got my shower today. I hid in Mommy's closet furst, though! I wuz just havin' furfun with her 'cause I REALLY like to get a shower. When we were done with the water and towel part, we went outside. It was so warm I thought it was summertime--almost!! Anyway, I'm all clean & smell good now. Tomorrow Mommy will cut my hair. If she doesn't everybody will think I am a little brown bear and not a big boy Poodle! Man, am I ever fluffed up. I can't stand myself. " I'm too sexy for my shoes!!"

You'd think today wuz speshel or somethin'! Not only did I get my shower, we had some steak in our dinner tonight. Mommy had to put a scrunchie to hold my pretty long ears out of my food. They get so yukky! But I can't help it. They are just there. I don't mind it when she scrunchies them up. It makes me look kinda cute.

I have to got to bed now. I have to be ready fur tomorrow.

Super Bowl!

Hi Everyone!
Guess what my pick for Super Bowl is? Yeah, Solid Gold Hund-N-Flocken!! I love it. Fooled ya, huh? It scores extra points whem Mommy puts something tasty with it. Sometimes it's chicken, sometimes it's fish, sometimes it's beefy-but it's ALWAYS yummy.
It's really nice outside here today. Minna & I have been talking to everyone in the neighborhood that goes past our yard. We like to talk. The humans in one house next to us don't seem to understand that's what we do. They're awfully cranky. They don't have any fur people so I guess that's why they don't understand. That makes me sad. They should have some fur people. Everyone else talks back to us. We have a lot to catch up on with everyone 'cause it's been too cold to stay outside lately.
I might get a bath today. I like to get a bath. I really get a shower, not a bath! I go in the big shower with Mommy. We suds up together. I L-O-V-E it when Mommy scritches my back and tummy. It feels sooooooo good! And I smell good when we're done, too.
Oh, Minna is calling me. She sees something outside and needs me to check it for her. Gotta go.............. Bye fur now

Howdy Everyone!

Well, here I am!

My sister, Minna, has a diary so I figured I'd better get one started too!

I have made a lot of new friends here at Dogster. I thought I should share more of myself with them and you!

If you have read my bio page you will see that I am a cancer survivor. This happened in July of 2007. I pretty much knew I'd be OK, but mom & dad (especially mom!) were very worried about me. Minna was my best friend then. Really, she's always been my best friend--even though she is Alpha. Sometimes it feels like she's just being mean to me-like when she takes my toys and doesn't even play with them. She just takes them so I won't have them. I guess she has her reasons and I can't argue with her. Anyway, when I was so sick, she stayed very close to me and gave me her strength. It helped me get better and I love her so much for that. So I went for a check-up in October. Dr. Eroshin at the Matthew J. Ryan small animal hospital at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School (man, that's a mouthful!) said I was doing very good and there was NO evidence of the cancer. I have to go back to see him in April 2008. I know I will be fine then, too!

Do any of you have to get your teeth brushed? I do 'cause I don't have any choppers on the right side on the top. I like it when mom brushes them for me. The gooky stuff tastes chickeny. She has a hard time brushing because I'm trying to lick the flavor off the brush!

I need to go outside and do you-know-what! I'll woof at you again next time.
