Wow, I just can't believe I'm the dog of the day. Let me tell you what I've been up to.

You know me, Hudson and Papi are walking from Austin to Boston to bring awareness to Canine Cancer. Well we are almost to DC!

We are planning a big walk on DC on Sept. 18, 2009. Check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rGd-79UhuM. it will tell you all about it.

I hope you all can come to DC to walk with us.

good morning

Yesterday we walked a long time. And through this tunnel that was almost a mile long. Poor Hudsy he thought he had never walked a mile before. It's a good thing he's so cute 'cos he's just not that smart. I didn't have the heart to tell him that we have walked more than 1000 miles.

As a matter or fact, we crossed into our 9th state yesterday.

I got a little warm yesterday so I let Papi carry my backpack that helped cool me off some.

If I can figure out how to put pictures on here I will. We have some cool pictures from our walk.

Oops, Papi says it's time to get off the computer and walk some more. I'd follow Papi anywhere.

We are resting today. Just a little tired from walking so much last week. Papi gets to take a bath... just when I thought he was smelling pretty good. I'm not sure why he even takes a bath. I'll have to ask him not too.

Did you see the picture of me with the chicken foot? Mommy Ann with Woody's in Pittsburgh gave me some. I don't think it's real...do you?

I really enjoyed the ice cream yesterday. I even dreamed about it last night.

I wish everyone would come to DC and walk with us on Sept. 18th. Maybe if they get info from 2dogs2000miles.org they will.

We've been walking in the mornings and resting in the afternoons. I really like to rest and eat and eat.

We are very close to the C&O Towpath which we will be taking into DC. Hudson spells towpath toepath and thinks we will see toes everywhere on our way to DC. Huds isn't very smart sometimes.

I like walking on the rails to trails because there is no car traffic. However, we do see bears and snakes.

Huds and I are protected from fleas and ticks because we use Vectra 3D to keep them off of us. Before Vectra 3D we were covered with ticks. Papi pulled over 100 off of us in one night! Now we are tick free! And so is Papi.

I like walking in the mornings because it's so cool and quiet in the trail.

Long Island

Sorry it's been so long since I last wrote in my Diary. Since my last entry we've walked in Virginia, D.C., Baltimore, Maryland, NJ and NY! No wonder I didn't have time to write.

We are now walking on Long Island and boy is this island long. I never knew an Island could be so big. Come to think about I don't think I knew what an island was until now.

We also set up a widget so dogs can pledge to walk 2 miles to help us raise awareness for cancer at www.2milliondogs.org.

No wonder I'm tired. The human Mommies and Papis are planning some big events for when we get to Boston on June 18th! We only have a few more 100 miles to go.

I'm going to go take a nap right after I eat some Honest Kitchen.
