Arrival Story:
Buddy was adopted in October from Mustardsandwich.net ( a rescue organization in South Carolina). He has now become Lucky's constant companion and is a joy to have around.

Bio:
Lucky was diagnosed with an oral melanoma a little over a year ago and while he was undergoing treatment I made him a promise that if he pulled through I would find a little brother or sister for him to play with. In September he received a clean bill of health from his doctor so we started looking for the ideal little person to join our family and saw Buddy's picture on a rescue site and decided he was the one for us. Having Buddy in the house has given Lucky a new outlook. He has no choice but to run around more (Buddy is always bugging him) and it's a lot of fun to watch the way Buddy tries to do everything Lucky does. I have to admit that there are times when Lucky gets fed up with Buddy's playfulness and just swats him on his backside. But this doesn't stop Buddy for long -- he takes a moment to regroup and then he's back to nagging Lucky. They're really fun to watch.
