I turned 2 years old on October 1st! I had the most wonderful birthday! So many of my friends took the time to send me birthday wishes, pictures, rosettes, gifts !!! I was SO happy and a heartfelt thank you to you all ! I did try and personally thank everyone... I hope I gotcha all! It really meant so much to me.
I just want to say thank you to my husband ♥ Georgie ♥ ... he made me so happy .. he gave me so many gifts..including thru snail mail a bottle of wine and a red rose.. Doggie squeaky toys ! Plus had sent to me gourmet Doggie Cookies !! I just loved them...!!! But the gift I treasure most is something you can only feel with your heart which his love ..that is priceless...!! I love you Georgie!
George and I have been on our yacht since before Pirate day.. and heading to the Bahamas.. well we arrived.. ON MY BIRTHDAY !! He rented a cute beach house in Nassau ..with a deck right over the beautiful turquiose sea... it is PARADISE! But we had just settled in and he tells me that we have to fly back to the Doghouse..cuz he needs to dance with me there for my birthday.. now they got plenty of clubs in Nassau but he must have had it in his mind he wanted to do it country style ..cuz he is a Cowboy and I am his Lil' Filly..so we fly in...to the Doghouse......AND!!!!!!!!
It was a surprise birthday party for me with all our special friends !!!! Cosmo, Coty, Sophie, Oreo, Bella, Midgie, Stewie, Brandy and Nikki !!! I was FLOORED !!!! But that didn't stop me from shaking my booty out on that dance floor !!!!! BOL !!!! It was so much fun !!! Thank you all for surprising me like that.. I will never forget it.. George even got me a new horse .. a sweet jet black filly.. I named her Ebony.... !!!
After the party was over ..George and I jetted back to Nassau to our beachhouse... I still was a little hungry so got a little snack for us... so we could relax and watch some TV... He was like ????? I think he had romance on his mind *giggle* but he didn't know where I had the remote heading to!!! ..... Ohhh no... I surfed right on up to the music channels and found us some romantic love songs....and we got cozy !!
THEN.... Georgie takes the remote and tells me that he wants to play me ONE SONG..... so I am waiting... and when I heard the first note... I almost started to cry... cuz you see .. I had just bought this album..and this song was on it.. and everytime I played it... I wondered...."Am I" ..... Well..... I got my answer cuz George took my paw and he lifted me up off that couch and started dancing ...and began to softly sing that song in my ear to me......... Merry..you're everything to me...

I love poetry. the play on words... to delve into the heart and pull out the meaning... and then when you find it and the realizaton of understanding comes over you .. to me it's like the sun bursting forthe over the horizon and filling the sky with bright light. I got this poem from George today and as I sat and read and pondered ...then came to the end .. that bright light shone a path clear to his heart .. I love you George. Thank you for sending me this beautiful poem.

There is something about being on the high seas. The smell of the salty air and the wind on your face. Nothing but the sun and the sea..Last couple of weeks George and I have been on our yacht. We left out of Galveston and headed due south. It was a spur of the moment thing. Being "Talk like a Pirate Day" was coming up it was to be the perfect type of trip!
I decided that we would play a game all week long! Every day we had to let the other know of 2 treasures that we wanted from the other and they had to go search the world and use whatever forces necessary to plunder and pillage it!!! BOL !!! I loved what I got from George ... OMD ! A heart pillow he made that says I love you.. a diamond horseshoe toe ring.. A Lady Pirate Pistol!!! A book of love sonnets.. a spyglass!!! 2 diamond tiaras... a cute cowboy hat.. a pair of parrots I named Polly and Popeye BOL! ..golden lip gloss and a pink robe *wink* and lastly.... 3 BEAUTIFUL necklaces... all of my treasures are to be going to be put on a slide and displayed on my page soon.
I had known of this deserted island that was in the Gulf.. This was to be our destination. We finally arrived and anchored. That night we left the yacht and went ashore for a beautiful candlelit dinner under the stars with a path to a sandy dance floor surrounded by tiki torches. Of course the menu consisted of everytype of shellfish! It was the most romantic night... no words were needed....our hearts spoke that night.... *smile* Needless to say.. it was just beautiful and we ended up staying here for several days.
SO getting back to our treasure game....The last day .. I took it upon myself to pick out George's treasure.. it had to be the ISLAND ..of course named TREASURE ISLAND.. I got him the deed ... How I managed that?...But of course by me swath and wth some charm thrown in as well!!! !!!BOL!
That night we headed back to the Doghouse for the most amazing Pirate party.. the whole group was transformed into the Dirty Deck Pub...the rum and grog were flowing BOL ! ....The perfect ending to a most amazing week...
But the truest treasure I received was Georgie.. The most handsome swashbucklin' pirate to sail the seven sea's ..me Cap'n Syd Cutty!!! ...and I.. Jumpin' Lindsey Dread .....shall be his wench forever BOL !!!
The sea is still calling us.... as this week we have continued sailing on our yacht ..and are now headed towards Bermuda.. I can't wait to see what lay in store for us there!!!
