Arrival Story:
Beaker was adopted from the Animal Relief Fund in Maryland. We were originally going to go through a breeder to get a dog, but fortunately for us, they never responded back. After looking on PetFinder.com, we saw Beaker (formerly known as Myron) and fell in love! Beaker had been a stray when picked up by the Animal Relief Fund, and was terribly under weight and suffering from a skin infection that left much of his chest hair shaved.
Bio:
Since Beaker has come to his new home, he has put on nearly thirty pounds! He has also finished basic training at Pet Smart and has made many friends in the neighborhood.
Beaker loves playing ball and running around like a maniac. If he's not doing that, he's probably relaxing in his chair either dozing or chewing on a toy. He insists on following his mom and dad around the apartment, which can get harder as he gets larger. He has a tendancy to be where you want to be two seconds before you get there, making it easy to trip over him!
He loves giving kisses and pushing toys in your direction if he's in the mood to play.
