OMD!! I Went to the Dog Park!!!

Today one of my folks took the day off work to spend with me!! (She said something about needing to go to the doctors as well, but honestly it was so she could spend time with me). After lunch, she got me all ready to go for a car ride, which is something I love to do! Then she took me to the pet store! OMD, I love the pet store. They always give me treats there and everyone gives me lots of pets and attention, since I'm so handsome. Evidently we went to the pet store so I could get my permit for the dog parks. Once we finished the paperwork (by we I really mean my person, I was on the ground eating my treat at the time), we were off to the dog park!! Ohh man the dog park was so much fun. I met several new dogs and ran around with them. We played a lot of chase, which is my favorite game ever. On the way home, my person was telling me that on Sundays here in town a group of Shibas get together at the dog park. Shibas!! Just like me!! She said since I did so well today that they'll take me to a Shiba Sunday really soon! Oh I can't wait to play with other Shibas!!

Goin' To Spawoof

So I'm not going to be around for the next several days. My folks are heading off to Colorado, where they will be skiing and hanging out with another Shiba! They tell me that's the Shiba that interested them in getting me. I would like to meet her someday to say thanks. Well since they're going to be gone, I get to go to Spawoof, my favorite boarding place. I'll be back on Monday after my days of pampering!

SNOW!!!!

OMD! We've gotten so much snow today. My people said something about 14-18 inches. I'm not sure what an inch is but I measured the snow in Shiba terms and it was coming up over my back! I sank down pretty far so I had to hop, and hop, and hop some more! At one point my leash came undone from my collar and I was FREE! And in the Snow! So I took off hopping but I fell through some snow and before I knew it my mom was on top of me. Then we rolled in the snow a bit as she tried to get my collar. That was so much fun. My new pictures are from my fun in the snow.

Class, I got it

Tonight was my third dog class. I'm really good at it and get lots of treats. Tonight besides my string cheese, which is super tasty, I got a super treat...HAM! Ohhh man it was so good!
I heard my folks talking with the instructors after class about where I should go next, you know cause I'm so smart and good at this class thing. The instructor said something about agility but first I should take the next level of family dog class and this other class about listening. I don't know why I need to take a listening class. I pay attention really....*Roux goes off to sniff the floor* Ok so where was I? Oh yea, HAM! I got ham.

Jealous

I just can't believe it!
So I like the website stuffonmymutt.com. There are some great looking dogs on there, along with some downright silly looking ones. I thought what this site needed was a handsome Shiba....you know, like me?? So with the help of my 'staff ', I emailed a picture of myself to them. (Had to get help emailing because well I don't have thumbs). WELL as it turns out, my 'staff' helped out one of the cats, you know the fuzzy things I can't chase, well they helped this cat submit a photo to stuffonmycat.com, the weird but tasty looking sister site to stuffonmymutt. I wasn't worried cause Hunter, well he's just a tabby nothing special like a Shiba. Well today the unthinkable happened...Hunter got posted and I didn't!! Snow Day!

So yesterday my folks told me that I'd be going back to school today, which made me very happy because that meant more string cheese. But alas nature is against me and my love, the String Cheese. Due to the snow, school was canceled. Now I don't understand why snow would cancel school. Snow is awesome and fun to play in. But I also guess snow is powerful. It makes my folks complain, makes the guy blow the snow around, and makes the lady worry about falling. Maybe snow has something against Shibas learning stuff, because it knows that knowledge is power. Hrm interesting idea, isn't it? I will have to wait and see if snow is so powerful that it cancels next week's class. But in the meantime, the guy is giving me string cheese for just sitting! What a pushover!

School!

I started school this week. There are nine dogs total in my class, including what I think must be the world's largest German Shepherd. I could take him though. But I'll just leave him alone anyhow cause I don't want to hurt his feelings, yea that's it.
I showed everyone just how smart us Shibas are. I learned everything super quickly and paid really good attention in class....to the string cheese in Ginger's hand. That was really good cheese and I got a lot of it. Plus since I was so smart and handsome, cause I mean look at me, I'm a good looking Shiba, I got hot dogs from the instructor. I think she likes me, but who wouldn't?! Class is great!
