Arrival Story:
I was moving to my farm and I wanted a watch dog. I wanted a shepherd type of dog, and had been looking all over. I went to one rescue agency and found a purebred German Shepherd that I wanted. However, I didn't meet their criteria (no doggy door) for adoption. I went home upset and my mom said she heard about a big doggie adoption day with multiple rescue organizations out at a farm nearby. We headed out to the farm ... after seeing every kind of dog you could imagine, we headed for the last corner of the room and I saw a beautiful, tall sheperd mix in a cage. She was from the local shelter, and we took her out for a walk. She was super calm and exactly what I wanted. Since I couldn't take her home that day, I waited until she was ready a couple days later. Zoe has been with me ever since.
Bio:
My "watchdog" only barks at horses. She is super sweet and friendly to all humans, who fall in love with her at first sight.
