Arrival Story:
I was looking for a small dog in the Arizona Humane society and was looking at all the dogs and came to a pen with two aussie looking dogs Cooper and a blue Heeler female, and Cooper forced the female to stay away from front of cage. I was wary of this aggression but the whole two hours I was there he sat patiently glued to the front of the pen watching my every move. I didn't see any other dogs I liked and was getting ready to leave and he let out one very loud and long bark to get my attention then rolled over on his back grinning wide. So I could not resist and took him into the small meeting pen and after 5 minutes I knew he was the dog for me.

Bio:
Cooper was originally a pound puppy that was adopted but his first family didn't have time for him and he chewed his way out of every place he was confined. I took a big chance taking him home with me but he only chewed up one door ( lol yes ate his way out of my bedroom) to get out of my bedroom and he hasn't chewed anything since. He hated being confined away from people! Its been more than 6 years now and I could not have a better dog. I trained him as an assist animal for myself and am happy I met him and brought him home.

Hi all my names Cooper

I was found at the Arizona Humane Society in 2000 and adopted by a nice lady. She loves me soo much and has trained me to be her Companion/Service Dog. I have a title now whoppeeee. I lived with my Mom in Arizona until 2006 then we moved back to Mom's home state of Oregon. Brrr I was soo cold the first winter Mom had to put a sweatshirt on me to keep me warm. Now I
ve been here a year and Ive gotten used to the rain and cooler climate and am happy and as the vet says a tad bit fat.

I just heard I am getting a little sister. I am not sure how this is gonna work but I love other dogs and love to run and play with them so I'm sure we will adjust after a short while.

Gotta go Mom is calling me. Till later byessss
