Lil's small size has caused her a few health problems. Early on, we battled hypoglycemia. Now we're fighting frequent intestinal disorders due to the bacteria present on, say, the sidewalk. Nonetheless, we love her, and she loves us!

I have a great life. After coming home from a vet's office (and I use the term "vet" loosely, as I sure didn't receive any medical care) in Baja California, Mexico, I was loved lots. I should back up. I convinced my new owner, who was not at all looking for a pet, to take me home. I loved and licked her, and was just so darn cute. I fit easily into the palm of her hand. So I passed through customs--again, because I was so darn cute--and went to spend time in Southern California. I had to gain weight-you see, I had to weigh at least a pound to go on the airplane and fly safely under the seat with my human. So after a month, I travelled to the DC metro area. I was three months old.
