I am soooo excited! This weekend is the Omaha Flyball tournament and I only have 679 more points to get 10,000. I will have my Flyball Master Excellent (FMX) on Saturday. Kind of cool that I get it in Omaha.
Other updates: I now can weave 12 poles - it is lots of fun. I am working on my jumping skills and look forward to another agility seminar this November.
I just keep on playing and having fun! If anyone is in Omaha this weekend, stop out to see us run. Our last tournament in Amana this past weekend was amazing. Alisha got three perfect starts with three different dogs all in the same tournament (that is incredible). Our team also posted a new fastest time and Jesse and Treo made their flyball debuts!
Well, going to rest....have a big week ahead, but I LOVE IT!

Had the best weekend ever at the Lake Elmo, MN Animal Inn Flyball tournament. Lots of great successes. Got my FM (Flyball Master) title for getting 5,000 pts.
My team consisting of Rage, Kirby (making his debut), Hatter, Volt, and Ruby received 1st place on both Saturday and Sunday.
I almost had my "perfect" performance weekend, but had a bobble in the last race. All in all I had great passes and several 4.9's again. I really love it!
Also came home and this morning we worked on my weaves again. Almost weaving four straight poles - my goal is to weave and add two more by the end of this week.
Mom is getting the pool out for me and Mooney today. Going to be 100 degrees - Yeah for swimming!
Can't wait for the next tournament.....

Wow - have I had a busy week. Monday to Thursday we were at our Say Yes Agility Seminar with Tracy. It was fabulous. I learned a lot of new skills. My mommy laughed at me when I was supposed to be shaping the jump and ended up shaping touching the number cone with my nose (isn't a nose touch more challenging than a jump?)....at least that is what I thought. At the end of our session on Wednesday, I got to have a zoomie with Zing and Envy. They are puppies. I had a blast and love to play with the puppies. I would like to have one of my own (hint, hint to my master).
We have a flyball tournament in Lincoln this weekend. Today was the first day. Our team started out a little slow, but ended very strong. I ran a personal best of 4.6 seconds. It was a very close pass (almost flagged), but made it! I had several 4.9's and 5.0's. Our team won 2nd place in our division, just behind our fast team. I love flyball.
We also set up a pool outside and it was fun after I was done racing, I could take a little swim. I think my mommy will have to buy me one of those pools for the summer!
Well, I am going to go pass out on the floor and get some zzzz's. Flyball makes me tired......

O.K. I have to share that I am finally no longer afraid of the teeter. Put on my big girl panties last night at Agility class, moved the table away, and PRESTO...Success!
It was really fun and my Jenny had lots of goodies for me when I did it - goodies do not make it nearly as scary.
Yeah - I really like the teeter now!!!!

Had my first "real" flyball tournament in Minnesota February 6-8th. It was tons of fun and the first time I got to sleep in a hotel! I ran a couple of 4.9s and most of the time I ran a 5.0 to 5.3. There is a lot to learn (I did run out of the ring once and picked up a 'dead' ball on the floor), but things are coming together nicely.
I have a lot of fun and can't wait for my next couple of tournaments. I am heading back to Minnesota and then to Muscatine in March and will be here in Omaha in April. Hopefully me family can get some pictures of me running.
My goal is to get my 25 pts each time I race. Last time I got a little over 700pts - not bad for two days of racing.
Headed out to play in the snow!

December 6-7, 2008 -
Well, we made it to our first flyball tournament. Boy, there was a lot to learn! I did pretty well. A couple of times I forgot to use all four of my feet on the box, but that will get better. I ran 5.6's on day one and once on day two I had a 5.1! Yeah! It is very exciting and I have lots of fun with my master. We got our first points at this tournament~ we will try to keep it up!

O.K. Back for some more Fall FUN!!!
I have been very busy. I have joined the Omaha Speed Racers flyball team and it is going well. I just have to learn not to lose my head when I see the other dog running down the lane. It is just so exciting!!!!
We have FINALLY made it out of F2 agility class. I enjoyed F2, but I was ready to move on and try more things. The teeter isn't as scary anymore. I still don't care for it, but I have to wear the big girl panties and get over it. Mommy says "no more hand holding!"
I have enjoyed also starting obedience. That means I am busy three times a week! It is tiring, but my Mommy says it is good for me because otherwise I would make her crazy.
Having some great Fall Fun! Right now I am trying to tell my Mom that it is time to go play B-A-L-L.....she is not listening!
Watch for us at our first flyball tournament and agility competition!!!!!
P.S. I now have lost a little over 10 lbs. since March 31st - YEAH!

Been awhile since I have written in my diary. I have a new "cousin"....my mommy has a new great niece, Sierra (yeah the human type). I have never seen a little human. She is very small and I loved to see what she did and where she was...the smells were amazing! I was very gentle and quiet around the baby and my mommy was very proud of my behavior. I was very protective and curious....
We are back to flyball and agility. I love them both! My mommy says we can start working on the weave poles. My first lesson, we went the whole time without the leash...yeah! Maybe we can finally get out of F2 (even though we really like it there).
I have learned some new tricks. I now can do a bow and balance on both my dyna discs (one for the front and one for the back). I have also learned drop on recall for obedience.
Well gotta go....Happy summer fun, KYLIE

March 1, 2008
Oh....I am so excited that the days are getting warmer! My master took me outside to play ball this week (I am dangerous in the house) and I had the best time! Muddy from head to tail! I love the mud!
The squirrels are out in force and I got in trouble for chasing one down. One day I will catch him. He torments me when I am on my leash and chatters at me (just out of reach).
I will be very happy when the weather really warms up and I can go for the really long walks......
