Arrival Story:
After I lost my Isabella, I needed a companion. I was told about a website-Canine Pet Rescue. I found her online, and kept checking on her everyday. (My husband said I could not get another dog, as we were too busy!) I talked about her and even dreamed about her. Finally, I was able to convince the family to go look at her, we didn't even bring a leash! After an hour of the kids playing with her-my husband broke down and said" how do we get to take her home?". She has been with us ever since.

Bio:
Polka's name was originally Cleo. From what I understand, the rescue found her in a shelter. She was already a three-legged dog (we don't know the backstory for that), and she was pregnant. The shelter was planning to put her down after she had the puppies. The rescue stepped in and took her. When I found her she was being fostered by some very loving people. We brought her home July 13th, and she is wonderful!
