This weekend mommy took me to my first birthday party. The birthday party was to celebrate the 2nd birthday of the Southeast Texas Labrador Retriever Rescue organization. When we got to the 2 acre property where the birthday party was, I knew I was gonna have a good, frisbee-catching, ball-chasing kind of time. There were probably 15-20 other dogs there and they looked just like me (well, some were brown and some were black, but oh well). I played in the pond and caught many tennis balls and saw my frisbee being torn into two pieces by two other dogs who were enjoying playing tug of war with it. I didn't seem to notice at the time because I was pretty focused on running around and swimming. Overall, I had a great time and wish we could go to birthday party's more often.
