Arrival Story:
I wanted a small terrier because I live in a small apartment, and I tried to adopt a 7 month old Cairn Terrier. I was too late and someone else got him. I was really depressed and started looking in Cincinnati and Dayton newspapers for a terrier puppy. I called several people, and puppies being advertised were either all gone or ungodly expensive. Finally, I called a lady who was advertising "Yorkie Mix" pups. I called her and there were four left. Apparently, they weren't going very quickly because they were half Jack Russell and people believe that Jack Russells are too hyper. The puppies were eight weeks old and all female.
I jumped in my car with my mom and drove about 50-60 miles to see these puppies. It turned out that the lady I spoke to on the phone lived on a big corn farm! It looked just like Smallville. We went to the kennel where the puppies were living with their mother and Baby just waddled up to me and licked my foot. I picked her up and that was it.
