Arrival Story: Lizzie came to our attention through a member of a rescue organization called Southern California Keeshond Rescue (SCKR). Soon after she decided to adopt us, my husband and I volunteered to help SCKR. We no sooner signed up with SCKR when we got a call to rescue Riley. One month after taking in Riley, we got a call to rescue Zoe. Both Riley and Zoe were supposed to be foster fur-kids. Yes, we are now known as "foster failures!" Riley stole our hearts within 30 minutes of rescuing her, so we asked to adopt her. We adopted Zoe after the family to which she was originally committed decided not to keep her.

Bio: Lizzie is will be 10 years old on 04/14/08. Riley will be 7 on 04/10/08, and Zoe will be 7 on 05/28/08. Although they are all considered "rescues," they were all well-cared for in their prior homes. Lizzie got into the rescue program after her first "mom" passed away. Riley's former mom, who absolutely adored her little fur girl, was a very busy lady who felt it was best to place Riley in a home where she would get more attention. Zoe's prior family felt the same.
