She was a dear companion and as friendly as could be. We grew up together. She was my best friend there for me in my I adolescent loneliness. She was long lived for her breed. In the end she beat ovarian cancer only to later develop uterine cancer and had to be helped to the rainbow bridge by my mom and little sister while I was out of the country doing missionary work at the age of 16.
