Well the ol'girl hit the vets for a check up after things settled down a little. Apparently the tick she picked up in feb/mar left her a present. So now we're on antibiotics for Lyme disease (spelled lime for cinco de mayo). Between that and both ears have a slight bacterial infection. So she has her little daily pill counter going for the next couple of weeks. Good part is she's in great shape for an old broad, and tipping the scales at 70 pounds (I'm supposed to say "it's all muscle") She's still moping around the house, and still runs out to the car waiting for her Mommy to get out. Both her, and her Daddy wish that were the case.
We're going to try a boarding kennel for the first time this weekend, just for a day to see how it goes. Hopefully she'll meet some new friends there, and it'll be ok. Fingers crossed.
Thanks again for the comments and support over the last few weeks, it's helped a lot.

We're all thinking of you and Delilah.
Love and licks,
Lulu, Romeo, and Lexi
We stop by her den at World of Woofs and look for her and miss her. Sure hope the medicine helps our dear friend get better.
Nothing will make the pain go away but time and love will help.
Take care of yourself and Delilah!
Oh Dear....i just read your diary and saw you picked up "lime" disease.....
not to worry....Ridge had it when Mommy got him...it was pretty advanced but the vet put him on atibiotics for like 6 weeks or so and now he is as fit as a fiddle.....whatever that is supposed to mean BOL
