Arrival Story:
I know both the owners of Tye's mom and the owner of Tye's dad. When I heard that Poppy and Harper were getting together, long distance, I knew I wanted one of the puppies. You see, Tye and his brother's and sisters were conceived artificially. Tyes mom lives in the Seattle, Wa. area and his daddy is here in the Dallas, Tx area. In September, when Tye was 12 weeks old, I flew to Washington to meet him and his siblings. Of the 2 boys I had to pick from I picked Tye. I loved his personality and color.
It was a good choice. He has been the best puppy and his new bothers and sisters have come to love him too.
Bio:
Tye is a Wire Haired Dachshund. His full name is Hathor Farm's No Tie Reqwired. He comes from a long line of performance & conformation dogs. I'm not sure at this point if Tye will be shown in conformation but he will be given the chance to compete in all other AKC performance events that Dachshunds are allowed to do. Agility, Earthdog, Field Trials, Rally, Tracking and Obedience.
