She was so brilliant and loving that we quickly decided we were going to adopt her, despite her expensive drug habit. Bio: Unfortunately, Goldie died shortly after coming to live with us. Valley Fever, a disease mostly confined to the Phoenix/ Tucson area, is very rarely fatal, but in poor little Goldie's case, it was. Fortunately, she didn't die in a kennel and she appeared to be in no pain until the very end. We're glad she got to have a family to love. I've Been On Dogster Since:
