Arrival Story:
my neighbor's daughter had two dogs, Oliver and another 1 year old dog and two small kids. She realized that she was over her head and offered Oliver to me since I had one of my dogs (a cocker spaniel who was 15 years old) put down this summer. The kids saw him this weekend. They said "That is not Spike" (the name that they had give him). I said yes is is. They said, no it isn't, he isn't young anymore.
