Arrival Story:
My mother volunteered at the Animal Protection Society of Durham. She knew I wanted a mellow and easy going dog. Orion fit the bill to perfection, plus he had a sweetness that was irresistible.

Bio:
When I adopted him, the rescue told me Orion was a Springer Spaniel/ Labrador Retriever mix. My dog trainer told me Orion was a "mix of a mix." After spending time with my sister's Border Collie and a favorite St. Bernard at the local animal shelter (who has so many of Orion's mannerisms it is uncanny), I've determined that Orion has many other breeds in his origins than Springer Spaniel/ Labrador Retriever.
