Arrival Story:
He was no longer wanted, had lived in a basement all alone for months and was on his way to the pound when a co-worker asked if we could take in a dog. I couldn't stand the thought of a dog going to the pound so we took him in. I had never owned a Dachshund, I'm so glad that we took him in. Now I got him a sister!!!! Boogey is now a healthy and happy boy.

Bio:
I don't know where he came from. The girl who gave him to me said he was a gift to her. In all his 7 months of being with her he had never been to the vet and had hookworm pretty bad and was so skinny when we got him. He had aggression issues and was fearful. I almost gave up on him because I didn't want my kids to get bit. I couldn't give up on him though, time patients, and love has done wonders. He has improved 110%.

Boogey has learned to fetch balls and toys, I guess from watching Brutus. If you play with him while standing up he will fluff his fur to make himself appear bigger.
