Arrival Story:
Maggie stole our hearts at the local Humane Society. We had been looking into rescuing a greyhound, we couldn't wait and went to the shelter. There she was all sweet and beautiful. She is anything and everything hound. I know she has some greyhound in her, not sure what else. I just know that she loves to be near someone, loves to run and chase and play. If anyone has any idea what other kind of hound she has in her, I would love the imput. I'm thinking, beagle, coon hound.......

She loves to lay on anything soft. She loves to lay right up against you. She ain't nothin' but a hounddog!

Oh my gosh, mom found these treats for me last night and I just love them! They are so yummy and fun to play with at the same time! They are like "flossies" but they have a liver treat inside. So I work really hard to get the liver part all ate up and then when it's all gone, I throw the flossie around and jump around and catch it! It is soooo much fun, I make my mom and dad laugh. Then when I'm done eating the flossie, I go find a nice, warm and soft (it's gotta be soft) place to take a nap. I am so glad that I have found the most wonderful forever home! They love me so much! I'm one lucky dog!!!!

Merry Christmas,

We just got invited to join a group today! Mom accepted and it looks like it's gonna be lots of fun! I am being very ornery today. Mom got up and let me out to go potty, and since it's snowing she moved my tie out closer to the house. Well, closer to the house means I can sniff out all the kitty's places and not get busy doing my business. Then, since we have a snow storm comming, Mom filled up some water jugs and has them sitting on the floor by the door. Well, I couldn't resist and took one of the lids off of the top of one of the jugs and mom caught me and took it. She didn't wash it off right away and so i decided to get a drink from the jug. Mom thought that it was so funny. I made her laugh. I love to do that! Well, gotta get busy chewing on some of my favorite toys!

Mom found Dogster

Today is our first day on Dogster. I have a feeling I will be spending alot of time right here by the computer while she is busy learning more about me and all the things that she can do to make my life even more wonderful than it already is! It also means she will probably be taking more pictures of me and finally finding me a "good for me" dog food. The stuff she is giving me right now isn't that great, and it gives me gas! I don't like it so I know she can't!

I have only been with her for about a month. Before then I was a pound hound. I was left in the back lot after hours with my brother. I think I used to be a hunting dog..... but that was so long ago and I have it so good now that I can't really remember. Mom has alot to learn about me but I think I might go easy on her and be a good dog!
