She was the runt of her litter, and was 1/3 the size of her sibs. She was so small that her breeder carried her around in a sling under her shirt to keep Roo warm... thus her name (like Kanga and Roo.) All the extra attention early on *may* have made Roo a *teensy* bit spoiled. Bio: Roo was diagnosed with kidney disease in March 2010. Her condition was stable and under control (with prescription food and supplements) for several months, but she suddenly became gravely ill in August 2010. Our vets had us administering bi-weekly, then daily subcutaneous fluids to her at home. Unfortunately, the imbalance of her blood chemistry could not be corrected and she lost her appetite due to nausea resulting from the renal failure. We hand fed her as long as she was willing, but eventually she refused food entirely (including her favorite, home-cooked lamb).
