He's the man, he's the man! We are all dog lover's on this forum, especially when it comes to our furry babes through thick and thin, no one and nothing can touch our hearts and just melt us like our special guys and gals.
Beta is one of those babies, and I can not tell you how much it enraged us to see him and us get railroaded by a system that really could have cared less if he bit anyone or not. They just wanted me to go away so that I wouldn't be there to nag on them and rail at them anymore. They were going to KILL this dog because a pair of trifling people who lived off of their parents didn't want to take responsibility for what they were doing to their dog, and the consequences of that. They claimed Beta boy was viscious, and wanted him put down. As my earlier diary entries go into, we fought because he was not just a dog, he was and is a gift!
So a few months later and Beta boy is still showing the world what a gift to this planet he is. We moved into this house out here that backs to a cow pasture. He gained a girlfriend in the form of a pretty brown cow with white patches, and every morning for the past month, she meanders over to the fence and gives Beta boy a sweet nuzzle. He really doesn't seem to know what to think of this little lady that weighs a couple tons more than him, but he has come to expect it, so every morning he goes to that one spot at the fence and waits for her to come and kiss him.
Then we carry home a hound that we found near dead at the side of a creek a month ago. He is not neutered, and now that he is healthy he is as spunky and in love with us odd balls as he can get. Well Beta has done nothing but love on him and make him welcome. And within a week before that we took in a little kitten, and she is as needy as a food aggressive and love starved kitten can be, so Beta adopts her as his pup.
I am not quite sure what we did that was so perfectly right for God to send our beautiful Beta boy to our doorstep, but we will never stop sending up prayers of thanks for him. He is truelly the most amazing dog we have ever had. He is our Beta boy, daddy's boy and mama's pride and joy. That my friends is our Beta boy!

I have a great big yard and a great new place for my family to call home. We are all happy to be here. There are so many sights and smells that are new to me, and these great big mooing creatures that live right behinde my backyard. One of them gave me a kiss, or perhaps a taste, but I kissed her back cause it was the gentleman's thing to do, and besides....Could taste like chicken?!?
Mom and dad ended up taking in a baby kitten that was found by a friend of the family hiding under a car at the WalMart parking lot back when it was a tiny little thing still needing its mama's milk. The little cuddler girl named her Lucky.
I accidentally got closed into the "animal room" with her when my family went out to eat and so I just decided to wile away the time cleaning her. I had her nice and freshly groomed when these crazy people got home and decided that she needed another bath. Like I didn't cover her with enough slobber to get her clean.
Anywho, me and Omega are doing great. We spend all day every day romping and napping. Mom and dad are relaxed and happy to finally have found the house that feels like a home for all of us.

Life is crazy right now, because we are getting the house ready to sell and to move out of this state! Beta is doing really great! He is still a lover of a boy, and our dream fur son.
He saw himself in the mirror for the first time tonight, and tried to pounce on his image. The mirror survived, and so did he, but he left the bedroom with a very flustered and confused look on his face about the whole debacle!
