Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: August 4th 2000
Likes: Sunning myself on the window ledge. In general, I love the sun and warmth.

Pet-Peeves: Having my canine uncle Shilo get too close to my food, people who get too close when I'm in my mom's car, and it's a little annoying when I don't get enough attention.

Favorite Toy: It's a tie between the Kong rubber toy & rubber squeaky balls

Favorite Food: String cheese (specifically string)

Favorite Walk: Hanging out the window on drives is actually my favorite "walk," but walks thru Elysian Park are also great, esp. if they involve ball play.

Best Tricks: I can do a good rollover but particularly love to dance like I'm still in the circus

Arrival Story: My mom didn't come looking for me the day she found me. She thought she wanted this other dog who was cute but didn't seem to notice her. She knew that looks weren't everything though and you need a real connection to make things work, so she decided to take another look around the shelter where I was staying. I was playing it cool, maybe too cool. All those big dogs made feel a little intimidated, so I just chilled out near the door. But I saw her. I hoped she wouldn't notice my matted hair and somewhat disheveled appearance (hey, it was rough out in the streets!). She looked at me for a long time then asked to spend a little time with me. That's when I went to work. I licked her whole face and jumped in and out of her lap while I snuck a few looks around this joint I'd been forced to live in. A couple of days later, I had a new home. At first, I was shy. My mom actually thought I was mute because it took me a while to muster up a bark. Now I make sure everyone hears my voice. My mom and the rest of our family always brag that I'm a great communicator. I can tell them when my toy is under the couch, when I want to eat, when I want to be hugged, when I don't agree with them; basically, I've grown into the Leo I was born to be. My mom also happens to think I'm pretty darn cute, too. I guess a bath or two does make a difference. Woof!

Bio: PS: I am a poodle terrier mix, that's for sure, but I'm not sure what particular terrier breed I am.
PPS: I am not named after food (though admittedly I looooove cheese). My name is short for Ignacio in Spanish, but Nacho fits me just right.
