I'm a corp recruiter that loves everything 'e' about my job. I'm HUGE on social networks and love recruiting almost as much as I love dogs. So... more great entries will be made here.

Today's Fun...

So I was going through some emails this morning and looking over all of the travel I've got over the next few weeks.... I'll be in Detroit tomorrow and in El Paso at an AT&T Hiring Event for a few days and heading from there to Los Angeles and then straight to Oakland before going home. It's about 12 days of roadwork.

The point? It's almost as though Sci-Fi knows I'm getting geared up to head out of town. He watches me... and I often wonder what it is that tips him off that I'll be gone longer than usual.

I used to think that it was when I pulled out the suitcase - that he's gotten to where he knows it means I'll be gone more than a day. But I've not even pulled out the suitcase yet and he's doing those things he does.... Double the effort to try and play, headbutting me when I'm near enough, pulling on my shoelaces to get me to play, wanting to go outside more than usual....

This brings me back to my original thought months ago... these little guys are pretty darned smart. And I don't mean in a "dog trick" smart. For anyone that hasn't figured it out - I think they pick up on a few key words... and I'm even to the point now that I'm thinking this little guy recognizes when I log into the Southwest Airlines website for my ticketless confirmation!!

Looks like he's got a girlfriend...

Sci-Fi's got a new girlfriend and it looks like they're gonna' make some pups together this March. We're very excited... of course, probably not as excited as Sci-Fi is - but we're still excited.

To celebrate, I've updated his gallery to Picasa2 and included some great pics of his girlfriend, Nuka. Woohoo!!!
