 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: April 1st 1997
Likes: Giving and receiving love, listening to music, kissing his Mommy, playing chase the stick or chase the tennis ball, knowing that now he has a "forever home"

Pet-Peeves: Sudden loud sounds like firecrackers and thunder

Favorite Toy: Rawhide bones, tires, his purple rubber bone

Favorite Food: Roast beef, steak, anything with meat juice on it, Cheez Whiz

Favorite Walk: To the dogruns in Inwood Hill Park and Fort Tryon Park to play tennis ball, fetch the stick, or chew the stick into mulch.

Best Tricks: Sit, give me your paw, give me your other paw, down, roll over, gimme a kiss

Arrival Story: He was abandoned in a neighborhood park, tied to a bench in September of 2003. My friend found him and called me because she knew I wanted a dog. A few weeks later, I met the original owner who said he couldn't keep the dog anymore. So he gave him to a friend of his who "lost" him. It was my good fortune to be able to keep him as he is everything I wanted in a dog and so much more!!!

Bio: He was born on April 1, 1997 which makes him an April Fool's baby. He can be a real comedian, especially when he holds his rubber tire in his mouth framing his face, and he becomes the infamous arch-villain, "Tire-Head".
He loves to chase and chew sticks, the bigger the better. He has even been known to carry logs around in the woods.
He loves his cat "brother" Fellini very much, although Fellini always tries to boss him around.
He is the most loving, sweet, gentle dog ever to grace the planet, and I thank the universe for bringing us together.

Wow! Today was such a great day for me. Mommy and her friend, Nick, took me to Homer's Dog Run to meet Santa Claus. I had heard about him, but never met him before. Well, today I met him and he was a very nice and jolly gentleman with a long white beard (except he smelled like a lady -- like Dogrun Deb, to be exact). He gave me some treats and asked me what I would like for Christmas. I told him that I would like to have a new tire and maybe some rawhide bones. I also told him that more than anything, I would like for other abandoned doggies like myself to find wonderful, loving forever homes, just like I did.
I also got my picture taken with Santa, and as soon as I receive it, I will put it on my webpage. Nick took some pictures of me in my Santa outfit, and I will put one of them on my site today.
I hope you all have a wonderful, Merry Christmas with your families, and I will talk to you all very soon.
Woof and lots of love,
Hooch

I love to go to Homer's Dog Run at Inwood Hill Park to see my friends and play ball.
Today was Howloween, and there was a costume competition for all of the dogs. My Mommy dressed me up as Count Dogula, and guess what? I won 1st prize. My Mommy was so happy and proud of me. The judges said that not only did I have the best costume, but that I was a very gracious dog. I think that must mean that I am a good dog. My Mommy always tells me that I am a good dog.
Anyway, I'm very glad that I was the 1st prize winner because I like to make my Mommy happy. Also, I got a great prize - a bag full of toys, cookies and treats.
You can see some pictures of me in my Howloween costume on my webpage.
I have a wonderful life in my forever home, and I am very happy that my family all love me very much and everyone else does, too. I love my family and all of the nice people that I meet.
Until next time,
Woof! Woof!

Well, after a few weeks of trying to find the diet that I'm supposed to be on, my Mommy says that I don't need to be on it anymore. I still don't get it! I never found it cause I don't know what it is or what it looks like, so I never got on it.
Anyway, my Mommy says that I'm thin again and I don't have to go on the diet. None of this makes any sense to me. Can't thin dogs find a nice comfortable diet to get on and relax?
Well, I'm still perplexed, but at least my Mommy has stopped being crazy and she remembers how much food I'm supposed to get. Maybe I never found the diet, but my Mommy found her mind again.
Until next time, WOOF WOOF and love,
Hooch
