Down by the Mississippi River, and I love to dip my feet and drink it too, which my mom says is gross.

Arrival Story:
I was a TV reporter and my show has an adoption Friday with the local Humane Society. I took one look at Gizmo and said he HAD to be mine. I adopted him that day, as soon as they opened. Gizmo would come on camera with me after that for about 1-1/2 years.....and he is STILL famous around here!
Bio:
Gizmo was a special needs dog....he didn't have use of one of his back legs. After extensive work with the vet, we found out he had severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. Gizmo had use of the leg and can run, walk and climb stairs. Unfortunately, all the steroids and other medications have made him bigger than he should be, but he had several great years of play. He was definitely a miracle dog!

Gizmo passed away peacefully today, April 2nd at noon. He was the best dog I have ever known. He saved my life 7 years ago and I will never forget him. Thank you to all who have been his Dogster pals these past few years! Gizmo was rescued from the Memphis Humane Society & I encourage anyone reading to adopt their next furry friend. You will never regret it!!

Thanks to my Aunt Heather for hooking me up with this groovy tie-dye. Unfortunately, it's about 2 sizes too small.....a belly tee, I believe they are called. When I wear it, my mom laughs and starts singing,,, 'fat dog in a little shirt". At least she gets a laugh out of it!

Well, my mom is trying to get some Holly Jolly pictures of me to upload.....making me wear something goofy again. My picture is now on a neat website, http://www.catanddogspa.com My mom ordered a Cairn Terrier angel tree topper for her Christmas tree. Can't figure out why she needs TWO angels. ;)
