Arrival Story:
Cuffs came into my life on an unseasonably warm night in January in NY. I was a police officer at the time and found him wandering around. He was about 4 months old, hungry and filthy to say the least. I had our local animal control pick him and I adopted him a few days later. One of the best days of my life!

I have to say that things are much better! I thought Jack would be another hyper puppy but he isn't! He plays well all alone and doesn't bother me so much. I can play with him when I want to play with him.
Mom's been working with me on listening better so that I can show Jack a good example. He looks up to me. It's not so bad, he's in a crate at night so I still get to share mommy's bed!

Getting better

Well, it's been 10 days since Jack arrived and I'm guessing by how mom is acting he's here to stay. I'm starting to get used to him and he doesn't get in my face too much so that's a good thing. Maybe he'll do alright here. I'll have to show him some of the rules though. He goes to the pine tree line all the time in back and doesn't know that we are not supposed to go there. When I get close this thing around my next beeps...very annoying!

January---my life turned upside down

Well, it's the 17th and my mommy went and did it to me again....she brought home this little fuzz ball that she's calling Jack. I was the man of the house. Does this little thing he's going to replace me? I'll just ignore him. Maybe she'll take him back. Maybe if I give her the cold shoulder she'll get rid of him! But then again I thought that when she came home with Macey and she's still here. I guess I will have to get used to the situation and teach him how to be a great dog!
