Arrival Story: My mommie and daddy had wanted a dog for some time. After the death of their beloved cat Abe it was time to get a cute little white hypoallergenic fuzz ball. I came from a breeder named Charlene. They tried searching for a suitable Bichon in the area to rescue and came up empty handed. Thank goodness for me. I love my mommy and daddy they do so many wonderful things with me. I am a very lucky little boy.
Bio: I am a AKC Canine Good Citizen.
I am also taking agility classes, it is a lot of fun. We go to agility classes at the same place I go to daycare to play with my other dog friends. I never know when we go to American K9 Country if I am their to play with my mom or the other dogs. I have started competing in CPE and I love getting those pretty ribbons. I am one Q away from completing my Level 2 Title. My focus has improved. I am listening to my mom now and loving it! My weave poles are coming along very nicely. Feel free to check out my videos and you can watch me play agility like a BC. BOL!!! I am starting to play in USDAA which is kinda like the major league of Doggie agility. It will take a while to get my first title in USDAA. The Q's are little harder to achieve. I need two more standard Q's before I get my AD (agility dog title)
I also enjoy long walks and hiking around the beautiful scenic areas here in New Hampshire. I love to tug with my toys with Mum and Dad.
My parents really do keep me busy but I love every minute of it.
Forums Motto:
I can't believe it has already been one year since I started competing in agility. Mum and I have both learned so much and are growing together as a team. I am learning to have more and more fun actually listening to mum on course. Yes, I still do have relapses into the world of zoomies but I am getting alittle more consistant all the time. I have been rather successful in CPE this year. Two CPE titles and I have actually gotten exactly Fifity Q's!! Most of them are first places too!! I couldn't believe that I had gotten that many till Mum told me. I have also starting trialing in USDAA and have been doing really well in that venue too. I have gotten sixteen Q's and am only one Starters Standard Q away from my AD title. I would have had that title too if I could just remember to hit the yellow on the contact equipment BOL!!! The other best part of agility is all the new friends that I have made. Everyone has been so helpful and have excepted me into their community. I even met my girlfirend Dori and my bestest friends Doolin, Duncan and Duffy through agility. Our pawrents have also become good friends and we all laugh and laugh when we are all together.
Mum and my trainer has made a plan for some winter projects for me the cold months ahead. Which is okay with me because projects means treats and I love treats BOL!!! Mum has actually been busy today with the circular saw, hammers and paint brushes to make me 6ft dog walk board. That way we can practice my contacts inside the house when the snow flies. Dad doesn't know yet..... I am sure he won't mind more agility equipment in the living room. There is already a set of weave poles. Well I was at the groomers all morning and I think it is time to take a nappie in my window. The sun is actually out today so I should soak it up.
Well, as usual I was Mr Popularity at the vets office. Those girls just can't resist my handsome poof BOL!!! I think even Dr Ball thinks I am pretty cool too. I got the big once over and it was decided my allergies are out of control again. Must be all those fall allergen's are so plentiful here in New England. So at least for the short term I am on a low dose antihistamine to help with the itchies and hopefully the vomiting. If the vomiting doesn't stop I may have to change my diet again. Maybe to emu or osterich. Mum says she hopes it isn't the salmon cause she doesn't want to start cooking all my meals. She already has to do that for herself because of her allergies.
So no worries pups I am doing great and I am still as frisky as ever. I just hope I am not to hung over from the medicine this Sunday. I am running USDAA and am hoping for my last Starters Standard Q so I can get my AD title for my Mumma's B-day. Wish me luck.
Mum made me a vet appointment for me this morning. I have to go this afternoon around 3pm. I have woke my pawrents up the last three days to me puking in my crate. Mum and Dad have no idea what is going on with me. I am acting perfectly normal and eating like I am starving...just like normal.
Mum's only theory on why I might be throwing up every morning is because of my allergies. It is fall here in New Hampshire andI have been very sneezey and itchy that last few weeks. The tops of my paws are very, very itchy and I have been licking and nibbling on the them. Mum thinks I might be licking myself so much I give myself an upset stomach. This morning she was just gonna get out of bed to tell me to stop licking when I started throwing up. I just hope it is seasonal allergies and not that I have developed a new food allergy. If I become allergic to fish I am in big trouble and may have to eat that horrible vet ZD diet full time.
